So the attacker could enter in single user mode, without the need for the root password,
He could also boot off of removable media with any OS that has support for FFS, mount your partitions, and copy over or change any file he wishes. Of if it is a typically-sized micro, he can just leave with it. Or if it's a vax, he may ride away with it (http://buscaluz.org/photos/Misc/vax.png). Computer security has to include physical security, too. -mj
