I cannot declare that the problem is solved... but I had no more freezes since I'm using a custom GENERIC kernel with doubled "NKMEMPAGES_MAX" and "maxusers", both with the i386 and the amd64 machines.
But consider that this happened only 7 and 10 days ago...
