Good day,

I had the same problem, I think. I was downloading all the CVS files plus
the various distfiles to build OpenOffice using -current and the nfe0 just
stopped receiving and transmitting. I could not even ping the router. I
tried this quite a few times and could not figure out what was going on. So
I then downloaded the latest snapshot (#1333) and had the same thing happen
as well.

Finally, I did a ifconfig nfe0 media 100baseTX mediaopt full-duplex
(before, it was auto-select) and after that I was able to download the
entire CVS, compile OpenOffice, etc. etc. without nfe0 locking up.

Not sure whether what I did was the logical thing to do, but the problem
has not reappeared!
