Understood, -- Just being pedantic, before I move to -rstable, I usually do a build with -rOPENBSD_X_x first when I do a Vanilla system.
Answer of "Use -rstable." is your answer.
libssl/crypto has issues with -rOPENBSD_4_0.  <shrug>
