Hey folks, I'm running -CURRENT (via snapshot) on my laptop. I've got the latest snapshot installed... I don't know when it happened, but enabling ACPI (via config) kills my wireless network.
I have two dmesg files available, one for GENERIC and one for GENERIC with ACPI enabled: GENERIC: http://www.bennyvision.com/temp/dmesg.noacpi GENERIC + ACPI: http://www.bennyvision.com/temp/dmesg.acpi I'm no guru, but one thing I noticed immediately - the ACPI-enabled kernel doesn't display an error about missing pins on my cardbus slot! That's .. interesting. The rum adapter is detected on both kernels just fine it seems, but when I'm booted into the ACPI kernel, ifconfig tells me that the rum0 interface has "no network". It works great otherwise, but no love with ACPI. Not a complaint! I just thought it was an interesting side effect of ACPI, so if any of the devs would like more information, feel free to drop me an email. Thanks!
