The ``it'' that doesn't have support for DRM isn't just the GENERIC configuration---it's the OpenBSD kernel sources. There's as much source code supporting DRM in the kernel as there is supporting Reiser4 or ZFS. Getting past that, yeah, you could have an OpenBSD kernel with DRM compiled in. ;-)
