some news:
i have installed 4.1-current. if the card is inserted while booting then
the ral0 is recognized and can be used ok, no timeout messages. if i
remove it i get the detached message, but if i reinsert the card then
there is no attaced message and the system freezes without going into ddb.
if i boot without the wireless card inserted and i insert a 3com
etherenet card then it attaches and detaches as many times as i want,
but if after a few insert/remove i insert the wireless card then there
is this message:
