I'm not Tanvir, but I think the T60 is similar enough for this to be relevant: I run my R60 with bsd.mp with one modification - 'enable acpi'. Makes the machine a lot more responsive. With bloated X stuff like KDE, OOo etc loaded to makes a huge difference. -- Peter N. M.
