Yes, what's missing in cronolog(1) ?
Actually, nothing missing that I know of, but cronolog does not do two
things I would like:
> compression of 'old' logs
> maintain a name of the 'base' log, a la syslog
The name issue comes into play with Webalizer (it looks for the same
filename every day to update stats), the compression just seems like a good
idea.
BTW - Looks like Rotatelogs is setup the same way, ..
