To All
My Thinkpad uses an Intel Pro 2200/BG card and I downloaded the iwi firmware
as a package:
http://damien.bergamini.free.fr/packages/openbsd/iwi-firmware-3.0.tgz
I've noticed that after an apm power event ( such as a plain suspend ( not
to disk )) /var/log/messages shows
the following error:
/bsd: iwi0: fatal firmware error
I've looked around and seen similar posts regarding this error for the other
*BSDs. I also found a fix that someone on a FreeBSD list applied.
Is there a preferred way of handling this error ( besides a reboot or using
the -powersave which I tried and it didn't seem to make a difference ) ?
Thanks in advance for any advice ?

Hi Nathen,
I've seen this on my X41 with iwi:
x41:fred ~> dmesg|grep iwi
iwi0 at pci2 dev 2 function 0 "Intel PRO/Wireless 2915ABG" rev 0x05: irq
11, address 00:16:6f:c1:16:40
Usually just doing an ifconfig -M iwi0 usually solves the problem and
gets the card working again.
