This is a very frequently asked question. As it says on http://openbsd.org/44.html : > The OpenBSD 4.4 Release: > To be released Nov 1, 2008 If you preorder a release, you can get a hold of that release's CDs prior to the official release date, but the release and packages will officially be released on the stated release date (or rarely a few hours or days before that, depending on Theo's schedule :).
