If Adaptec had good news, they would probably have told us "here is the documentation you asked for" in the last 6 years since we asked. There is nothing they will tell you that has any benefit to us. Don't If you find something out, don't bother telling the mailing lists. There would be no point, since it will just be nice words; nice, but useful, and as lying and deceitful as their words for the last 6 years. If Adaptec wanted to change the situation, they have had more than enough time.
