Hi, guys I am very interesting about the PCC compiler and especially for compilling OpenBSD by it. Is there a plan to make a BSD version tool chains. I mean not only C compiler(PCC) but also binutils (as , ld, some other elf tools etc.).
FreeBSD import the Clang branch into SVN recently. http://svn.freebsd.org/viewvc/base/projects/clangbsd/ And this branch seems still using GNU binutils. I don't have any problem against GNU but I don't like the big (may be messy) code. So I hope the OpenBSD project has a plan about building a BSD verion binutils. Is there any informations ? Rebuild the wheel ? Oh, may be. But I hope a well designed and well written BSD version compiler tool chains exist in this world. Thanks! -wsw
