Hmm.  I know people that use Archive.org regularly.

Well for now there is still the option to send it over torrents.

There are also three other sites which could be considered for hosting
conference videos.  I didn't think about these earlier:

        http://thevideobay.org/
        http://commons.wikimedia.org/

and didn't know abut this one until looking today:

        http://dailymotion.com/
