I've been a *nix user for a little over a year (oBSD mainly). oBSD is the
OS I most appreciate (none of your business why).

What I wanna say concerns something that took me longer than it should
to realize. I was in the customer/client mode and treated oBSD that way
. . . "Hey, why don't you fix MY problem?" "Why don't you accomodate
ME," I'm the customer . . right?"

Wrong . . .

I apologize to the long-time followers who feel that this is old hat . .
. unfortunately, it's not!

New users . . . listen/read . . . oBSD is not here for you. You are not
a customer . . .your are not a client . . . you are a participant in a
cool enviornemnt where those who make the system you enjoy, MAY listen to
what you have to say and MAY accomodate.

noobs (and dense misc@ folk) realize that you are an outsider.
You are offerred an OS at your own risk. So, complaints are ill received,
but informed suggestions aren't. For instance, my atheros wifi card
(5424) is not yet supported, but i don't and should not complain ;-)

The question about b'marks can only be relevant if the b'marks are
reasonable and reasonably understood by those conversing. Otherwise, you
just talk past each other and (as far as I'm concerned) oBSD suffers.

Thanks for your time,
-Neal
