The adapter is some noname 5 USB model. Says like this in dmesg when plugged in: ubt0 at uhub0 port 1 "CONWISE Technology CW6622" rev 1.10/1.34 addr 2 bthub0 at ubt0 11:11:11:11:11:11
As said before, the adapter works in Linux with BlueZ. Under OpenBSD, I have been able to pair it after starting sdpd and bhtcid, and generating a pin with btpin. Just that the phone does not allow setting up an rfcomm interface (although it does under Linux). Have explicitly set the phone to allow all incoming connections from this computer, and there are not really any more settings to configure there. And just to clarify: when playing around under OpenBSD, the phone has not been connected to the computer over USB and no 3G data connections have been up. I use 3G data over USB cable now under OpenBSD, but the USB modem is buggy so the phone locks up and reboots when there are many simultaneous connections (same behavior under OpenBSD, Linux and Windows). It does not do that with Bluetooth though. 2009/10/5 Vladimir Kirillov <pro...@uaoug.org.ua>: > what's your bluetooth adapter? dmesg ? > > On 22:40 Sun 04 Oct, Jan-Erik Skata wrote: >> >> > rfcomm_sppd: connect(00:11:22:33:44:55, 2): Connection timed out >> >> > >> >> > The phone is a Nokia E60 and works fine for 3G with Bluetooth under >> >> > Linux. >> >> > Any ideas?
