The second approach would be to sell ComixWall CD's and donate at least the cost of the OpenBSD CD's to the OpenBSD project. Sure, that means ComixWall will cost $55+, but that way the OpenBSD team doesn't lose CD sales and ComixWall makes a little profit for writing the frontend.
