that depends if the SATA controller is in AHCI mode or IDE mode. > I now have wd0-wd5, how do I get the additional devices wd4 and wd5 in > /dev/ ? If you had this problem during the installer, it would have created the nodes for you. You can do this by cd /dev sh MAKEDEV wd4 wd5 That makes the nodes you need.
