If tcpdump shows nothing, maybe check for firmware updates and reset the nvram to factory defaults. I don't recall if the G3 still has an "OS selection" in the BIOS, if it does maybe try another one.

The DL380 G3 has ILO, once it's set up you can ssh to the ILO IP address and get the console.
