HI all,

?Is there any way t change the root password using a shell-script (aka non-interactive mod as passwd uses)?

I've used pw in FreeBSD and chpasswd in Debian GNU/Linux to do it, bit I've not found a way/command to do it with my OpenBSD boxes.

At present my approach will be install except from ports and use it to get my goal.

I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.
