FWIW - libXext.so.11.0 has been added to the src tree.
montagueneal ldconfig -r | grep libXext
132:-lXext.10.0 => /usr/X11R6/lib/libXext.so.10.0
373:-lXext.11.0 => /usr/X11R6/lib/libXext.so.11.0
