There have been many examples of people getting answers even to issues unrelated to OpenBSD having failed on other less responsive mailing lists. The idea that the OpenBSD mailing list is grumpy is the misconception of an overly sensitive someone, willing to cut off his nose to spite his face. OpenBSD developers simply do not like wasting time, which is partly why it is so brilliant. I have noticed that they HAVE wasted their time to help others, when the question is reasonable or productive to the questioner atleast. Occasionally, conviction is needed to stress the point, which can be mistaken for hostility by some. Please donate to OpenBSD in order to improve the worlds efficiency, productiveness and allow all people to harness their ideas as safely as possible, thereby improving the future development of those ideas.
