Wow. However, still won't do for me. With a different error, and
a dmesg response:

# bioctl -R /dev/sd0a sd2
bioctl: BIOCSETSTATE: Invalid argument

softraid0: partition too small, at least 3997412864 B required

Funny, as i haven't changed anything. Same device. But again,
it isn't a clean snapshot. I'll upgrade when i get near the
machine, which isn't going to happen soon.
