SMTP2Go provides an SMTP Mail Relay service. I checked their support 
information yesterday and it appears that I need to have my mail domain fully 
verified to allow me to send through their Relay service. Hence the log 
messages talking about “Verified Senders”. I have now verified my domain 
“sidoti.id.au”.

Your simple suggestion to use the “-r” option with the “mail” command is a nice 
solution. It overcomes the hostname issue as I am not using a real FQDN for the 
hostname. No issues with sending emails now.
