I know there has been a lot of discussion on here about the new curriculum and awards.
I was wondering what the Districts (states) are doing as far as their Honor Stars.
In Alabama we would have an Honor Star crowning for all of the girls in the state.
This would take place at our M'ette Retreat in June. Because of the change in
curriculum, Honor Star means something totally new now. Have any states made
decisions on how they are going to handle their Honor Star crownings?

It would seem to me that if you start recognizing Honor Stars (in the new curriculum)
the same we did in the old, then we would have to recognize Honor Rainbows, Honor
Daisies and Honor Prims. Time just not allow for that. We also have churches that
will have Honor Stars from the old program for the next two years. Is it really fair
for them to be recognized with "new" Honor Stars? Or, not be recognized at all on a
state level?

Looking forward to comments and suggestions!
