I don't like rushing last minute changes just before a release, that's a recipe for trouble. I think I'll push 1.4.0 out the door in the next few days with what's currently in there and stable, and we can take our time to work on the other issues and release 1.4.1 or 1.5.0 a little later once the changes have been properly tested.
