Hello,
I'm currently working on a subproject whose aim is to read some
information from MapInfo files (.dat, .id, .ind, .map, .tab) under
Java (the only API I found is this one in C - MITAB). I found
something more useful under geotools.codehaus.org but it only reads
.mid/.mif files. Are these two groups of formats equivalent? How to
convert my .tab files into .mif/.mid and would this operation be
information-lossless? Do you know any tools to read .tab files under
Java directly?
