Hi Fauze,

we are indeed working on an open source Tracking/Navigation subsystem
for MITK. Internally, we have most of the code working and in use for
some years, but we want to restructure it and clean it up before we
release it. We don't have a fixed release date yet, but the latest date
discussed is a release at the next BVM (www.bvm-workshop.org) conference
which is in March 2009.

Best regards,

 Jochen

Betreff: [mitk-users] IGS Support

Hi MITK users and developers;

I'm interested in using MITK for prototyping an Image-guided Support
System for surgical procedures. At CAI/MICCAI 2008 was mentioned that
MITK already features IGT support but it is still not available as part
of the open-source code. I would like to know if still there are plans
of providing such feature soon? Or if at least a common interface to
tracking devices is already available in MITK?

Thanks in advance for any help you provide me with.

Best Regards

Fauze
