Dear Ridha,

thank you for your strong interest in MITK. We're developing this
toolkit in a non-profit environment so resource planning is a difficult
task. Our main goal for the transition to Qt4 is a clean start with a
new application design so we want to take our time to get it done
properly. We're expecting a first example of a working functionality in
the new Qt4 application before end of year. After this milestone
everyone can start developing functionalities and other modules for the
new application framework or help porting existing ones.

If you want to develop your own application based on Qt4 you can already
do this with the existing widgets:
