Hello mitk-group,
I tried upgrading from version 0.8 to 0.10 (and svn), but something seems to
be wrong with my settings.
After successful building the mainapp (and mitk) without any errors or
warnings (beside the security stuff from ms) I can start mainapp.exe
(debug/release). So far so good.
However I get the following vtkError after trying to read a sample pic
dataset (e.g.:Pic3D.pic)
ERROR: In ..\..\VTK-5.0.4\Filtering\vtkDemandDrivenPipeline.cxx, line 783
vtkStreamingDemandDrivenPipeline (0AAA4920): Input for connection index 0 on
input port index 0 for algorithm vtkImageThreshold(0AA90C88) is NULL, but a
vtkImageData is required.
When reading Dicom files the same message appears and they are totally
offset (but can be read with 0.8 without problems). Also the rendering is
flickering.
When trying out the binarie mainapp from the installer everything is fine.
(also building mitk 0.8.0 with the same libs: qt3.3.8, vtk5.0.4, itk-3.8.0
works).
I tried to do it from scratch on another pc without problems. (unfortunately
not my working pc).
I tried:
qt-3.3.7 and qt-3.3.8
vtk5.0.4 and 5.2
itk-3.6.0
itk-3.8.0
itk-3.10.0
mitk 0.10.0
and mitk from subversion
of course not in all possible combinations ;-)
I'm stuck at the moment.
My system now is: WindowsXP SP3, VS8 pro, qt-3.3.8, vtk.5.0.4 (parallel=on),
itk.3.8.0
Well, I guess if you don't know an answer, installing windows in vmware will
be faster then recompiling the whole day...
Regards,
Michael
