Hi,
I am currently designing a new filter that takes two images as its input
(original and mask) and produce a score list as its output. I'm wondering
from which base class is it best to derive such a filter (image → something
else that is not an image/a surface). I looked at the
mitkImageStatisticsCalculator and it seems to derive directly from
itk::Object. Is there any reason why it doesn't derive from
itk::ProcessObject?
