Dear MITK users,
in addition to the regular release notes we want to draw your attention
especially to our completely reworked segmentation plugin.
In a team effort of the whole segmentation group we enhanced and improved the
already existing 2D segmentation tools. We are now also offering a huge palette
of 3D tools, like otsu or
whatershed segmentation and a 3D fast marching tool.
A new view of the segmentation plugin provides segmentation utility tools like
boolean or morphological operations on existing segmentations and also various
ways of masking an image.
