Hi Shivali,

please use for such questions our mitk-users mailing list so that other
mitk-users can take benefit from your question either.

The box effect that you describe is actually a bug within the 3D interpolation:
http://bugs.mitk.org/show_bug.cgi?id=16184
We will fixed this bug for the next release so there will be no way to
enable/disable this box.

Regarding the crash: Of course this is not supposed to happen :) Is there a
certain way to reproduce this crash or can you provide us more detailed
information about this runtime error? This would help a lot for fixing this.

Best regards
Andreas

Subject: Regarding MITK segmentation plugin

Hello,

I wanted to ask something in regards to the segmentation plugin, present in the
latest version of MITK. When I am trying to generate the 3D masks from an
image, I use the Segmentation module. In that, I start off by enabling the 3D
interpolation and then I start drawing the contours on various slices present
in my respective case study. While I am drawing the contours, sometimes,
instead of appearing as an irregular shape (that is the boundary that I am
drawing), it appears as a box. In some cases, I need that box, while in some
cases, I don't. For the cases, that I don't need the box, all I do is close the
project and reload the image and start everything from the beginning. So, my
question is that is there a way to enable or disable the box appearing on the
mask. Also, sometimes while doing this experiment, the workbench crashed on its
own, showing a runtime error. I don't know if that's suppose to happen or not.
Please guide me in regards to this problem. I will really appreciate your help.
Please find the attached screenshot that contains the "box" that I am
mentioning in the above question (the case that is being shown in the
screenshot, I really need the irregular shape of mask instead of the box that
is coming up after drawing the irregular contour). Please let me know if there
are any concerns or queries. Looking forward to hear from you.

Thanks and Regards,
Shivali
