This is hard to say. It could be a crash in the past which damaged the database. Or a previously installed plug-in which is now disabled in the CMake configuration and hence was not recompiled but is still referenced at runtime, etc. Maybe something totally different...

Hi,

Great advice Sascha. by cleaning BlueBerry it did open in a normal way.
Can you explain what damaged my BlueBerry instance? In order to prevent future bugs.

Thanks
Amir

    Hi,

I don't know exactly what's going on but you can try to start the
application with the "--BlueBerry.clean" (Linux) or
"/BlueBerry.clean" (Windows) command line argument. Make also sure
that there aren't any other application instances still running.

    Best,

    Dear MITK users,

I just compiled mitk and my own plugin on my ubuntu 12.04 64bit.
Compilation was done with no error but during runtime it crashed
    with this message:

*terminate called after throwing an instance of
    'ctkPluginDatabaseException'*
    *  what():  ctkPluginDatabaseException: ctkPluginFramework:
database is locked Unable to fetch row*
    *Aborted (core dumped)*

I would appreciate if anybody has an idea of the possible solution.
    Bests,
    Amir
