What version of MITK are you using? The file ‘bronchial tree’ is from our demo
dataset?
For future issues regarding the usage of MITK I kindly ask you to either file a
bug into our bug tracking system (http://bugs.mitk.org)
Or to simply post the question to our mailing list

that others can take benefit from our conversation as well.
