Hello,
the SOFA applications folder is not included in our reduced package of SOFA as
this folder is GPL-licensed in contrast to the rest of SOFA which is
LGPL-licensed. I know that this changed meanwhile as the plugins subfolder in
the applications folder is explicitly licensed LGPL as well. As SOFA has just
recently released a v2015-03 version I will do a major update of MITK
Simulation in the next weeks which will also allow to directly switch on some
plugins. Until then MITK Simulation can be considered as experimental as
interface changes will most probably occur.
There’s a workaround if you can’t wait: Check out the same version of SOFA from
the official SOFA-repository as we are using for the superbuild (hash of commit
is included in the filename of our SOFA package). Build it according to their
official documentation and switch on the plugins you want. When you are using
the same compiler as for the MITK superbuild you are able to load these plugins
into MITK.
Best,
Stefan

Subject: [mitk-users] Some question about building SOFA
Hello, I have met some problems about building SOFA in MITK. I can not
find the folder 'sofa application'. What's more ,when I useing cmake to build
MITK, I can not tick the option "sofa-plugin". I want to know how to solve
these problems.
Sincerely waiting waiting for reply.
