Hi Hongzhi,

Right now MITK can only deal with data nodes dragged into the python console.
You can also run python code from c++ if that helps. Take a look at
mitkPythonService.cpp if you’re interested in this.

Regards,
Eric

Betreff: [mitk-users] About Python Support in MITK

Hi,

I'm developing a plugin in MITK and considering writing some Python code. I
wonder if I can access datanodes, renderwindows and some GUI components in MTIK
through Python Console. For example, can I get the crosshair position in the
renderwindows in Python Console? It seems now MITK can only deal with data
dragged from the data manager. As I know, MITK is using PythonQt, which is
supposed to give the access to GUI components and other stuff, right?

Thanks,
Hongzhi
