Hi Nil, are you talking about using the MitkDiffusion module or building the MitkDiffusion Application? There should not be any hard Qt5 dependency since we still had to provide Qt4 compatibility due to this OS X Qt5 issue.
On my machine the diffusion module was build using Qt4. Did you get any errors? Maybe someone of the diffusion guys can comment on that as well...
