Hi Stefan,
Thanks very much. It works on my computer to create a new project by the
MitkPluginGenerator. That's a good start for me, and I'm trying to play with
the MITK Project Template in the following.
Best Regards,

Hi,
the current plugin generator is included in the MITK source code, so if you
already built MITK, then the MitkPluginGenerator is located in your bin
directory. If you are also interested in the MITK Project Template, we have a
quite recent tutorial for setting everything up:

Best,
Stefan

Betreff: [mitk-users] A problem about how to start MITK project
Hi,
I'm a new starter to MITK and want to get some help to set up my first MITK
project.
I've download the newest MITK source code from git and compiled it. The
tutorial says I can use the MITK plugin generator or use the MITK project
template. As a beginner, I want to use the MITK plugin generator.
I found the newest version for the MITK plugin generator is 1.4.0, which
was released in Feb 2012, and its Qt dependency is Qt 4.6.2. However, the
newest MITK requires Qt 5. Does anyone know how to address this problem? Some
suggestions on creating a new MTIK based project is also appreciated.
Thanks advance for your help!
BW
