Hi, did you see the notes specifically for Linux users on our Downloads page
regarding export paths before starting the Workbench. [1]

Best,
Stefan

Hi Caspar,

Thank you for your answer!
Yes, the MitkWorkbench.sh is one directory above the executable itself... Any
idea of the problem?

Best regards,
Ana

Hi Ana,

please keep the questions on the list, so others can chime in.

Did you try to start the workbench using the MitkWorkbench.sh one directory
above the executable itself?

Best,
Caspar

Hello!

Thank you for the answer!

Now I'm trying to do it otherwise. I just downloaded the
MITK-2016.3.0-linux64.tar.gz (it already has the binaries).
But when I write ".MitkWorkbench" it gives me an error " ./MitkWorkbench: error
while loading shared libraries: libMitkAppUtil.so: cannot open shared object
file: No such file or directory".

However, I have this libMitkAppUtil.so file in the same directory..

Any sugestion?

Thank you!!

Hi Ana,

You can build the examples by configuring on the MITK-build level (as binary
directory) and switching the option MITK_BUILD_EXAMPLES to on, I assume you are
trying to cmake in some of the subdirectories instead?

If you are trying to follow the tutorial [1] be aware that there might be an
issue where the 3D windows start zoomed out very far. So you will not see
anything until you zoom in quite a bit.

Hope this helps.

Best,
Caspar

Betreff: [mitk-users] MITK examples

Hello,

I am new with MITK. I was able to compile and build MITK (I think) following
the steps described
here:http://docs.mitk.org/2016.03/BuildInstructionsPage.html.

Now, I wanted to run the examples, but I can't...When I try to cmake /../Step1
I have an error message saying "Unknown CMkake command
"mitk_create_executable". I think the problem is that I dont't have a proper
CMakeLists.txt?

Can someone help me? I have run the VTK examples and it was OK, but now with
MITK I dont know if I have to do something else before.

Thank you in advance!!!
