Hi Natalie, unfortunately we do not support writing images in DICOM format yet. However, you can export your image nodes to other common formats like .nrrd for example. Just right click on the image node in the Data Manager to open a context menu that offers you an according menu entry. In case you want to save your images from your own code, please have a look at mitkIOUtil.h, which offers you the possibility to load and save your data with one-liners. For an example, you can also check slide 25 of the tutorial presentation at [1].
