Hi,
I have spent a couple of hours to get the binaries running
following some of the obvious steps:
1. install gcc-4.9 and libstdc++6.0.20
2. install Qt 5.6.2 in a out of system directory
3. adapt the launcher shell script MitkWorkbench.sh:

4. Hopy and try it - now I am stuck with:

QLibraryPrivate::loadPlugin failed on

This application failed to start because it could not find or load the
Qt platform plugin "xcb"
in "".
5. Test it on a Ubuntu 16.04 - also problems with libqxcb.so:
Qt_5_PRIVATE_API not found.
Maybe someone has already gone through this and can share his experience?
