Hi, You could build the MITK Workbench and enable the Ultrasound Support plugin. It already provides this functionality. Please have a look at the documentation for instructions on how to connect to an ultrasound device: http://docs.mitk.org/nightly/org_mitk_gui_qt_ultrasound.html
