Hi all
I'm new with this program and I would like to help in the
development as I can, so for now I will report this problem with the
new beta release:
My PC: AMD Phenom x4 9950BE 4Gb DDR2 1066
I'm running ArchLinux x86_64(full updated) with 2.6.32.8 kernel comiled
by me for realtime. I use the new KDE (4.4) and when loading mixxx for
the first time there are no problem, if I close it when I open the
program the first track waveform didn't appear and leave a transparent
rectangle. For now I go into the preference and reselect the interface
to rebuild the gui. I think it could be something with the new Qt cause
on KDE 4.3 I didn't had this problem.
The second problem is in the latency as I try to set 5 or less i get:
Debug: [Main]: iLatencyMSec: 5
Debug: [Main]: output channels: 2 | input channels: 2
Debug: [Main]: iFramesPerBuffer 256
Debug: [Main]: iLatencyMSec: 5
Debug: [Main]: Opening stream with id 1
Debug: [Main]: Opened PortAudio stream successfully... starting
Debug: [Main]: Dynamically loaded PortAudio library!
Debug: [Main]: PortAudio: Started stream successfully
Debug: [Main]: iNumDevicesOpenedForOutput: 1
Debug: [Main]: iNumDevicesOpenedForInput: 1
Segmentation fault
Hope this could be help you to understand the problem.
Claudio
