That looks looovely. I've always liked the look of the EKS XP controllers but felt they didn't have enough controls. This looks much better in that regard, and the colour-changing lights should make it feasible to control two decks with only one jogwheel without forgetting to switch... And my what a nice big jogwheel! It looks like it might be nicer than Pioneer's... I'd love to get my hands on one. The only thing I'm not convinced about is the touch-sensitive ribbon instead of a pitch slider. I can't see that working very well, unless you change your way of working quite radically from the accepted norm. Well, I reserve judgement until I've tried it. But it seems to me that this particular aspect may require some special handling in mixxx. > it took my attention, cuz got so many thing that others don't have. one of > them is that it has linux drivers. I don't think it needs drivers. Like most modern USB controllers it's probably class-compliant so it should Just Work with Linux. The difference is that EKS officially support using their controllers on Linux, while the likes of M-Audio don't want to know... Wonder if we can talk EKS into sending one so we can get it supported by mixxx in time for its release? :) Thanks for the heads-up, Vladimir!
