Overall, coverage of the release has been very positive, the main question a lot of people are asking is when they can get a PPC binary for Mac, which is good because we know we can do that soon.
Some highlights of coverage of the Mixxx 1.6.0 release trawled out of our referrer logs for everyone to look at: Firstly, this great article courtesy of createdigitalmusic has been pushing lots of hits our way: http://createdigitalmusic.com/2008/08/07/mixx-open-source-dj-tool-adds-vinyl-control/ I didn't contact this Hungarian blog but they have picked us up somehow (in Hungarian): http://midi.blog.hu/2008/08/11/nyilt_forraskod_a_dj_knek Whoever posted us to pingstate.nu and the kvraudio forums got a lot of hits and is thanked very much: http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=3191221 Also blogged here, mostly boilerplate though: http://rekkerd.org/mixxx-v160-released/ http://making-music.blogspot.com/2008/08/dj-software-mixxx-16-pc-mac-linux-free.html This japanese language blog seems to like us too: http://sothis.blog.so-net.ne.jp/search/?keyword=mixxx And obviously I recognised a few peoples' personal blogs on the referrer lists there as well. Thanks to those people :) Adam ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/ _______________________________________________ Mixxx-devel mailing list Mixxx-devel@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/mixxx-devel
