Hi, I´m Leandro Leal and I using the Mixxx for one year. I using Mixxx in same parties, because I using Linux and it is the best dj program for Linux. In this year I want participe in Summer of Code with Mixxx. I have same proposal:
- Development the automix function: The automix function is important because in small parties. I´m a dj, but I want too talk with my friends and in this time the Mixxx will be mix the musics automatically. - Development the scratch button: The Mixxx have the two options on Pitch behaviour: Vinyl Emulation and the Pitch independent time stretch. If you want make scratch on Mixxx is necessary alter change the Pitch behaviour on preferences and it isn't good. So the button scratch resolve this problem. It is viable ? Who can be my mentor on SoC 2009 ? I´m from Brazil and my english is not very good, but I have much interesting on the Mixxx project. Thanks, Leandro Leal
