Tested on XP SP3. Uninstalled whatever old non-version I had before. Deleted configs from both places in Documents and Settings.
First of all, the console comes up, which we've tried to turn off for releases before right? Next a popup with a critical error, can't locate skin.xml. Followed by a nice crash... Exact error from console: Fatal: [Main]: Could not open skin definition file: skin.xml Will try to debug if I have time...
