Good to see something is done about this issue, since it is the only thing keeping me from using Mixxx. I vote for it too, and can also chip in 10$ to speed up this process.
If someone can help me with tools and strategies to debug this issue, I'm also willing to put some time on it. I'm a Java/C# developer with some basic knowledge of C/C++, but clueless about the tookit to use here. I also have a setup where it's easy to reproduce the issue.
