Hey guys,

Here's an update of some of the stuff that I've been working on:

Build Server
=========
RJ is going to purchase and assemble our build server hardware. The
server will be physically located in Boston with RJ so that he can fix
it if anything breaks. We're going to virtualize each build platform
to start off with so that we can begin producing nightly builds as
soon as possible for branches that need testing. I've already set up a
32-bit Windows 7 VM that we're going to transfer over to the build
server once it's assembled. I've hacked together a python script that
automates builds for us, and we can expand on this in the future. I'll
throw it in bzr at some point. Still tons of work to be done here
though (OS X, 64-bit stufff, compiling debug versions of all the libs
with MSV0 2010, etc.)

App Store
=======
I just got an Apple Mac Developer account and I'll be making some
changes to Mixxx on OS X that make us meet the Mac Store guidelines.
So far, this just looks like adding some Info.plist keys and moving
our config files to ~/Library/Application Support/Mixxx, but we'll
see. Our UI doesn't adhere to their HIG very well, but I expect
they'll give us some leniency since we're open source.

OS X 10.5 Leopard
==============
Turns out you can't deploy a _Cocoa_ Qt 4.7 application from OS X
10.5. Found this out the hard way, but here's some links:
http://developer.qt.nokia.com/faq/answer/errors_using_macdeployqt_caused_by_old_version_of_xcode
http://bugreports.qt.nokia.com/browse/QTBUG-9318
I'm going to try the Carbon version of Qt 4.7, but if that doesn't
work, I'll be forced to upgrade to Snow Leopard on my development
machine.

Mixxx 1.9.0
=========
I completely ran out of time in December, so big thanks to Bill and
everyone else who picked up the slack and fixed loads of bugs. We
missed our 3-month release deadline but we should retarget for some
time in January. Still bugs more bugs to fix though:

Thanks,
Albert
